Riviera Swimming Pool - Mikulov

Riviera Swimming Pool is situated in a beautiful environment with a view of the chateau and attractive swimming and recreation pools. The children can use the toboggan (54 m) or the slide (24 m). The parents with small children will certainly welcome the baby pools or the sunshade rent. And tourists on a trip will appreciate left bike office and left luggage office.

Nové Mlýny Reservoirs

All lovers of swimming, water sports and fishing will be attracted by the Nové Mlýny Reservoirs. Especially the Pasohlávky recreational area with the natural pool is demanded by people loving to spend their summer holiday by the water. There are sandy and grassy beaches with slow entrances to the water, a toboggan, children ´s playgrounds, a jumping castle, a funfair and other attractions. Athletes will find volleyball grounds, beach volleyball grounds, netball, tennis, table tennis or miniature golf grounds. The water surface can be used for windsurfing, kite-surfing and other water sports, including fishing. Several lucky fishermen have caught capital pieces at the Nové Mlýny Lakes, for thanks to the favourable natural and climatic conditions the local fisheries are among the richest in the Czech Republic.

Active rest also includes swimming and relaxation on the banks. The summer does not any longer begin when the calendar says but much earlier. Why not to welcome it and prepare a couple of tips for a summer holiday by the water. Mikulov and its surroundings offer swimming in artificial and natural pools with a number of accompanying attractions such as steamer rides, jumping castles, children playgrounds and many more.

The external pool with thermal mineral water, a sauna, and a bowling can be found in the Pasohlávky recreational area in the Termal Mušov Hotel. This hotel, in addition to accommodation and catering, also offers mountain bike rent, a children playground and a petanque ground.

The most state-of-the-art amusement park in the Czech Republic.
A total of 20 toboggans and slides of a total length of more than 1.7 km. The outdoor water attractions Abyss and Boomerango designed for three-person rafts. The popular toboggans U-Wave, Supercrater, Wild River and Yellow Crash. Children’s pools and slides designed for children, who can also enjoy the swimming pool with attractions including bouncers, climbing nets over the water, bubble-makers and water spouts.
A total of 12 pools covering a water area of 3,000 m2 some of which use water from the local geothermal well, the large Forum Romanum wellness zone, solar and Roman baths, 2 restaurants and 4 bars.

Laa an der Thaya

In the nearby Austrian town of Laa an der Thaya (about 25 km from Mikulov) you can relax in one of the most up-to-date thermal spa in Europe. The thermal springs with the water temperature of up to 42 °C are rich in iodine. Water temperature in the thermal pool ranges between 26 and 36°C. Around the pool there are canvas chairs, pearl baths and whirlpools and massaging underwater benches. From the roofed pool you can swim directly to the open air pool with massaging springs. Further attractions include a toboggan and relaxation rooms with music, a sauna, a solarium, a gym, a water gym, and a summer swimming pool.
