Tips on the path
The educational trail “Holy Hill” in Mikulov features a total of 11 information panels. You can get to the trail from four different starting points that are shown on the introductory infopanels. The remaining 7 panels along the educational trail will acquaint you with the unique flora and fauna of the nature reserve and with the history of the Stations of the Cross on Holy Hill. Each panel features a map of the educational trail, and signposts are also located along the entire trail for the purposes of orientation. Twenty rest points with benches have been established along the trail. The interesting features along the trail, in addition to the Stations of the Cross, include the lookout above the quarry where you can enjoy truly beautiful views of the worked-out quarry, the ruins of Děvičky Castle and Table Mountain. At the Procházka Forest Park, the trail meets up with the educational trail “In the Footsteps of the Anabaptists” which will take you easily back to the centre of town.
